I get NO paid vacation days or holidays, sick leave or personal time off. So my situation is worse than the lucky Americans who do get 2 weeks or even 1 week of paid vacation.
The office I work at close on major holidays like the Fourth of July, Xmas and Labor Day, but that just means lost income for those dates.
I do plan to take a week off to travel this summer -- but with major financial loss. It sucks. I envy you Europeans with 4 weeks!
