    the dell i have renders type, especially, really poorly and with pinkysh fringing around letter forms. I dont use it for design though and it runs on vista. it was one of those cheap all inclusive deals...

    • that monitor has either:
      a)not ever been claibrated
      b)white point temp is messed from use and will never come back      madirish
    • Sounds more like a setup/video card issue. Run the display settings as high as the monitor will go.joyride
    • or maybe its just a crap monitor all together! hahahahamenos
    • is that clearType maybe?it uses a coloured dither to smooth letterforms.monNom
