If you are more interested in a great art and design scene than beautiful mountains, Minneapolis arguably takes that cake. It's pretty well saturated with great design firms, ad agencies, and Target®. Great fine art too. Winter can be harsh, but that is when most of the great work is produced! Send your book around town, let yourself be known and you shant have a problem finding a good job here.
