all great responses, thanks guys. I guess the hourly rate is a good starting point, but i would need to figure out one based on this type of job... as radar said, it could take 30 min or 6 hours! i still don't know what exactly is required as the client might decide that he wants an overall re-vamp of the logo instead of minor changes...
