Background image is too sharp, blur it or something to stop the eye being drawn to it.
Save the capital letters for the headlines, it's a pain in the ass to read the body copy at the moment. It's missing some characters as well.
Hit area on the buttons top right seems to be too small / not lined up right, check it out.
Put the link to welcome at the top, makes more sense that way.
What's the point of being able to close the right content box down? Pointless functionality only confuses users, if it doesn't do anything then lose it.
Lack of a hand cursor on the links is a pain.
The logo is a bit lost on that background, maybe there should be a panel running across the top for the logo and nav to sit on.
Nice background on the html page though. Good work.
