    This subject comes up a lot in PVN and I always add this:

    Don't forget to factor in how much of a pain in the ass the client will be. If they are the kind that will have you making "little changes" every day for a month after it is done then charge for that upfront so you don't have to seem like a bitch in the end.

    And on that note - put everything on paper clearly stating what you will do and when the project will be done. This makes things easier to handle when the scope starts to creep.

    As in all good relationships, communication is key.
