This seems to be exactly what I'm looking for since I've been finishing a lot of commercials for air lately. I'm gonna get the boss to upgrade us to FCS2 ASAP.
Most of my FX work (90% for commercials) is just compositing and text effects - so I'll stick with AE for 3D for now, but the back and forth between the 2 sounds sweet. Thanks again for the info and links.
