I used to hate motion I used to say it was the single biggest program let down I have ever experienced :\
However I have been using it now for a couple of years and it is fantastic and very very intuitive, I now prefer to do things in motion to aftereffects (which I have been using for twice as long) I have absolutely changed my mind about this program and can recommend it to anyone who does motion graphics.
I would however say that having knowledge of both aftereffects and motion is a real bonus for me.
