5% to 10% depending how big the job or complicated it is.
why not talk to her say
"thank you sending me this work, what would be an appropriate finder's fee for it?"as long as its in 5-10 you are in the good
but note that broker is different from referral. broker will take commission but also help to manage the client. Say billpayment, rate negotiation etc but not project management / account management.
so ask her first see what she says, if she says nothing, at least offer her 7.5-10 if this is the first job around
