Can you even buy/sell lists of email addys in the first place? The problem isn't so much obtaining the list legally, but to make them not get pissed off at the unsolicited email..

(Oct 18 07, 12:10)depending on the list and what type of service you are offering, most of the rejection rate (complaining, brand degradation) is relatively low. Funny enough, unsolicited email has higher open rate than signed up emails.
and yes there are lots of places where they sell / buy email addresses.
