Cool, will check out the tribeca store and home depot. Just surprised there isn't a "green" home store with all your needs, especially since everyone is touting switching over, etc.
My gut feeling after researching them, and trying a few, is that CFL's are just not there yet. Ever wonder why art galleries and museums still use halogens and traditional lighting? They won't switch until the color rendering is equal to, or succeeds that of Halogens.
All these companies have proclaimed their CFL's are full spectrum, soft white, etc, but I have yet to come across one not being yellow, or commercial cold white. I will check out the phillips ones, though, and GE's offerings.
For people in the arts, and graphics, the quality of light shouldn't be something to sacrifice after all in order to go green. Unfortunately, I will have to wait it seems until the market improves a bit more.
However, if someone is in a similar position, and has found a good CFL/LED light bulb that is equal to GE's Reveal brand, hit me up!!!
