My PowerBook I just sold was aluminum and never really dented or anything, but the aluminum did chip and the little button you push to release the screen was totally chipped away.
My PB was a 12" so a 13" MacBook should do the trick. Leopard will be shipped directly to me so I can't complain. I still have like 10 days to return it if I buy it today, so if they make some announcement for new machines when they release Leopard, I could always return it.
