  I've found that Adobe Paragraph Composer makes manual setting almost impossible, the results are too unpredictable.

  The 'Balance Ragged Lines' option is only good for large, single paragraphs - in a block of text with two or more paragraphs (especially with narrow columns) it's useless.

  I've been trying to stick to -10/15 max but sometimes it's a bit tricky, especially with hyphenation turned off.
