reality check on the "illegals". I was living in the states (legally) the past 10 years and had to go to ER only once. My brother was in ER twice during that time. The ammount of paper work and the hasle of the hospital sending u the bill month after month even though u proved to them that you don't have to pay is too much for me to have to deal with it unless my life depends on it. Notice that i was LEGAL -- so i didn't have to worry that revealing my address might have some consequences and still my family in all those years was in ER only 3 times... SO yeah your "illegals going to hospitals for free care even with a cold" makes lots of sense.
