It's not just an extra $2. And it is a path that I don't believe in. Why do you liberals (I'm an independent) insist that giving more and more money to our every growing government is going to fix our problems? I still fail to see the reality in this. Ideally, it's wonderful. Reality tells me that it's a pipe dream. Again, how are our school systems doing? It's a relevant parallel, dobs already agreed that our school system is horrible and that is despite all the money we've put into the schools via your '$2 / a day' theology. How are they? It shows you just how full of shit this idea is. The bad part is that this is obviously just the beginning of a national health care system. Our government is not fiscally responsible and now we're going to go ahead and let them be in charge of our health? I can't wait to see what kind of doctor is ready to cut me open when he's getting paid the same as our teachers get paid. Sounds great! I hope he's as blindly ideal as a lot of you.
