Seattle has no soul. While Portland is expanding rapidly, it is still a sleepy place with a ton going for it. An amazing restaurant scene that is blooming, really great local music (discounting hiphop), tons of interesting art and fashion, and cheap-esque rent. Hands-down, PDX wins.
