I wouldn't worry about Trent becoming "The Man". The guy ran Nothing Records (Marylin Manson, 12 Rounds, Meat Beat Manifesto, Pig, The The, etc.) for many years until his business partner (and then "best friend"), John Malm Jr. stole millions of $$$ from him. After that, Trent decided to close down Nothing Records due to the whole legal issue with his now ex-business partner owning part of the company. So Trent has done it before, he'll still be the same guy. I doubt he'll be signing other talent like he did before with Nothing Records, he seems like he's past managing/worrying about other bands. I would think he just wants to focus on NIN this time around.
