the reason i want to know is that i think we're on the brink of a new way to view films. check this out...
i heard that Lucas Films has a way to digitally broadcast their movies to theaters around the world (eliminating the old school reels). i'm looking for confirmation of this in another thread.
if that is true, then it is likely that movies might end up having their first variables.
think about it... let's say LOTR2 was digitally broadcasted to every theater. then it is possible that the battle scene (using Massive) could be a little different for each theater viewing. perhaps not as different as what was suggested by the first try using this software, but nonetheless unique. the plot would remain the same, but the specifics could be different.
what do you think? possible? crazy way of thinking.
