    Surely you guys would have more to gain from this 'PR Stunt'? If he goes, it will show that, on some level, he has 'respect' for at least something of America.

    If he reacts negatively, Western media, and by consequence the world's, will jump on him and coagulate resentment towards him.

    Also, the slightly xenophobic-twang of 'come to our nation' is diluted by the fact that it was your country that insisted the UN be headquartered in New York - he has no choice but to come there. If you accept him in to your country it would be disingenuous to not give a state leader access to the site of this Century's single biggest news story.

    The main point is - do you guys want to be childlike and play the game, or be the bigger man and let him have his moment? What are you fearful of? Christ, until the truth is re-written again, Iran had literally fuck-all to do with 9/11.
