i lived in portland for a few years and live in seattle now, and i think portland is merely a stepping stone to seattle. Everything cool that is in Portland, is in Seattle times 2. more art, music, lounges, trees, mountains, rain..everything. I really like seattle but the rain gets to me once in a while. No sales tax in Oregon though, so if youre smart you get a license in Oregon and then move to seattle because washington will wave sales tax if you show your oregon id. Pretty cool. Seattle has my vote.
