I find all the answers I need online. I called Apple Care twice when they delivered a laptop to me that wasn't upgraded like I had asked. They just transferred me to sales or whatever, and the woman on the other end immediately gave me the money I had spent for the upgrade back, plus any shipping costs. Just like what any good company would do.
Most of them are excessively nice and helpful.
