    Is there a way around it? Can you start a Ltd. company in a country with a more liberal economy and invoice your clients from there?

    I think there are companies that sell those kind of services in the UK - you rent a PO Box, communications and a secretary will handle all your paperwork. in EU you can open a company anywhere just as long you have an address to locate the firm i think.
