the other thing i just noticed about the original post was that it has a nice right-click feature menu. super-slick...but as someone mentioned that custom mouse thing is always kind of jacked-up. also the deep linking is a VERY nice feature.
the one that me and
(nate)-eighthourday were messing with was basically meant to be able to easilly update by just dropping jpegs into a folder and just naming them sequentially so the swf would auto load them. the problem is we still need to touch the flash file because we have to give an overall number of jpegs the xml is looking for...which is really easy but still becomesa reason someone has to go into the flash file and republish.the biggest thing we wanted was the liquid flash and the full screen image in the bg.
anyone know a way to quickly load all images lo-res via xml while also loading hi-res images behind the scenes? (ie. no "loading" message, but it just pops in a low-res image) and then loads the hi-res? that would be nice!
