(Aug 13 07, 06:19)totally disagree.
he is 'leaving' so he will not have to now, nor ever, testify that he abused the executive branch. he is a thief, crook, and corrupt bastard.
it is sickening that he can actually 'leave' on his terms (barring the pres. accepts the resignation) and there is ZERO procedural recourse (outside of a commitee bringing his case all the way up 3 levels of, then to the Supreme Court as a citizen) for the government or public from having his balls strung up and he go to trial for his crimes.
such horseshit.

(Aug 13 07, 06:30)he's probably leaving because there's another election coming up, and getting people elected is what he really does best. he might not join a campaign as the official political advisor to anyone, but i'm sure he'll be working behind the scenes for the republican party.
