  all you need to do is Export Library under File... simple

  I already know that's not going to work, there are tracks on my 1st laptop that are not on the external drive and the other way around..

  I dowbt that a simple export library will sync tracks on both drives.. it might keep the playlist order and ratings.. but thats it..
