In fact, I have been thinking about one that I can take off-road... where speeds are lower and gives you great balance training...

________So why not look at something like a KTM Duke. I know a few guys out here in Michigan that drive these puppies.
They hang on the fastest of highways, tear up the dirt, and handle nicely in tight spots. Downside is parts are tricky (in the US), seat height is a bit high and the high torque is not so good in heavy city traffic...(but then, what bike is)...peace...and keep the shiny side up!
