I went in 99 and 2000. I am also going again this year. It is an experience like no other you have had, or will ever have in your life.
If you're into art, and I assume you are being on this site, you will love it.

kidding aside, i have heard it's pretty wild/fun. i've been to other festivals (further, even further etc. etc. if that rings a bell to anyone (most likely only midwest people)) but it seems even wilder as far as the crowd it drags out from the woodwork of the weird/free/hippy/you name it subculture...have fun, and take lots of photos!
...especially you ron! they would probably make for some excellent trades.
