albeit early mayhaps, but congrats!
places:
glacier national park, usa. travel northwards into the canadian rockies. do this in the summer months.
fall, maine, vermont, new hamshire loop. fantastic fall folliage, rolling hills, and some mountains.
a drive from big sur california to vancouver, bc. gargantuan and ancient trees, the sierra nevada mts, ocean sunsets. just ask jevad .
northern minnesota along lake superior, but i am biased. it doesn't have the mountains like new england, but it does have the foliage and solitude.
