why is it unreasonable?
its not even royalty free, its RIGHTS Managed
you should know this better. if you license the image to someone, and that image is being used some where else, Getty violated that contract with the client. The violation comes from people stealing images.
If you are using the image for personal use that does not lead to more income, than you have more leverage to down play the amount but the fact that you are using it to get more work, thats worst.
if this wasnt getty, if it was an independent photographer, would you have had the same reaction? maybe you think that Getty can afford to lose some money.
