abba, i only wrote that because I did a logo redesign for a company in san jose last year with the man put in charge of all the web and print materials we were to provide, the goal was to shift the focus of the company to fiber optics from cable. 5 months later, all revisions, tweaking and mock ups came to an abrupt halt when the boss stepped in and said, leave the logo alone, use this font and get the site done.
a 12 month ordeal ended in lame business cards and a site nearly lacking any content (taking only weeks to finish), though we had been given piles and piles of data and taken hundreds of photos, maybe 1% of the original content was used
it may not be right but you always please the man who signs your check (even if their wife does call you personally at home to apologize for the husband/owners action praising your time, effort, and work).
