Get your hands on a camera which can play miniDVD's and use a correct firewire cable, one with a small end for the camera and a big end for your computer, I would only recommend the method which morilla suggested as something to do as a second option, although it will work perfectly well it will take time and you won't be able to pick and log your shots so easily,
