Hi guys
I'm trying to do a dvd with video and pics in iMovie. I've done this before with the video being in digital format (mov, mpeg, avi, etc) but all I got was 3 miniDVDs, how do i import the video into iMovie?

Never used one, but you gotta get a camera or deck that records to those things. Hook it up and import.
Unless it's made by Sony, in which case iMovie might not play nice with it.

Get your hands on a camera which can play miniDVD's and use a correct firewire cable, one with a small end for the camera and a big end for your computer, I would only recommend the method which morilla suggested as something to do as a second option, although it will work perfectly well it will take time and you won't be able to pick and log your shots so easily,
my way more versatile and less time
