Flex is the future? So the future is controlled by a company known for developing software for designers... vs WPF... from a company who has been handling IDE work and development tools for 20 years.
I'm not saying Flex isn't great, and WPF is amazing, but this is again "MS is bad, wah-wah-wah (run crying)". In fact I don't even have a preference, but I'm keeping my mind open to either, or anything else, that makes the best product for the needs.
Take the approach that you will rebuild your UI layer all the time; build that in to expectations... because it will probably happen anyway, then just use what makes sense.
