I say go hella Baroque with the Q mark. Like Ampersanderson said, there is a lot you can do with the Q. And if you put the logotype inside the Q, then a large Q is fine; otherwise, I'd recommend using a mark-to-logotype size ratio like #3 (which feels like a near miss by the way, the Q is not quite as high as the type.)

4 might be OK without all caps??? and the joined up Q's could be used as a pattern??
