  KPT vector effects is THE best vector plugin. The thing is, they haven't developed it for AI 10 yet!! That's why I keep AI 9 around.

  You could use Swift 3D, but the interface sucks. or you could dig deep into the past for Adobe Dimensions if you're really desperate.
