Probably not if they opened it up and saw water damage.
I once sent in my ipod because it was freezing more than most and disk mode was behaving erratically and they sent it back saying there was nothing wrong with it. This was when it was under warrantee.
I know someone who did the same thing, sent his ipod in, they sent it back, he sent it back, etc.. and eventually they just sent him a new one. I wish I had known about that whenthey sent mine back.
