a person is worth as much as someone will encourage them to be
do not blame the employee at mcdonalds that executives have precise calculations of retaining him for 4.1 months, it is their goal to demean him while holding him at his position because it works for their bottom dollar never having to give raises or offer health care options to "employees"
it's not that they can't or can't afford it, they simply won't. it is greed that keeps 99% of the money controlled by less that 1% of the population
