I saw it years ago, nice, but not my thing either. That and a cheesy ending. The vision of the future seemed lame, ie. lack of personal communication devices aka mobile phones.
I liked the Vangelis score back then.

(Jun 25 07, 04:45)Surely you must mean the schmalzy ending that Hollywood fucked up as opposed to the director's cut!! don't see how that could POSSIBLY be percieved as cheezy...I like Vangelis' score still, sounds just as good today.
