So far I'm loving it...I'm a complete noob to a high end SLR and I'm getting good results just mucking about.
I bought it in Japan and got quite a good deal on it - between getting points back on a larger purchase at the same store and the exchange rate between $ and yen. It ended up costing me like $250 - which is a steal. The sticker price there was the same in the States - about $599 (with lens kit), except in Japan I got a better lens kit than they offer in the states.
