Just picked up this lovely digital SLR..anyone else have one? Any tips and tricks, features/bugs with this bad boy?

So far I'm loving it...I'm a complete noob to a high end SLR and I'm getting good results just mucking about.
I bought it in Japan and got quite a good deal on it - between getting points back on a larger purchase at the same store and the exchange rate between $ and yen. It ended up costing me like $250 - which is a steal. The sticker price there was the same in the States - about $599 (with lens kit), except in Japan I got a better lens kit than they offer in the states.

anything that is new, get AF-S lenses because they are the only ones that you AF in. nikon has removed the AF motor pin from the D40/60
all other lenses are MF because they dont have a motor inside the lens.

I've had a D50 for a couple years now and I like it quite a bit. THis lens is inexpensive and a nice addition:

I bought mine in Japan, so I got a AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 kit lens - which I think is different from the US kit lens somehow, and I picked up this as well:

I got the D60 with the 16-85 lens. Love it so far but the lens is too long for the built in flash.
