well I don't know why people make fun of other people for getting latest and greatest. I think Soler is right.
I don't think having the latest and greatest if you can is un-cool or wearing black or whatever you said. If you can buy all that shit, you love technology and want to be ahead of other people by owning shit, then it's your thing. I don't see a reason why I would laugh to anyone.
You see the primary reason as we all know it of considering someone uncool is some kind of jealousy, like "I can't have that, but he has it, and he looks so fucking nerdy, look at him" type of thing.
I believe that life is too short, and if you fall under the influence of majority who "define" coolness you are missing out on things you like.
A few tips, you should do what makes you feel good, NO MATTER, what some asshat thinks of you. It doesn't matter if it's cool, or not. Most people who consider themselves cool actually have social problems and undeveloped character. The biggest cheesy, superficial characters I've known were the most confident and clearly defined as personalities. Now, this doesn't mean I approve of their actions, but I don't see the need to judge them as I don't have time to fucking look at other people. I'm living my own life.
Just 2 cents about that.
