    yo jox, good question. Some things I notice, when people bust there ass on a project, what do they normally get? A good job and pat on the back, maybe a gift card... or more then likely, more work. And if they constantly do outstanding work it's what you expect.

    IMO, you need to make them feel important, satisfied. If they feel they are getting taken advantage of they look to leave. So give them something besides more work, find something that is important to them and make it happen. If it's a few days off for a trip to "insert cool place" then send them. A good happy employee that knows hard work does not go unnoticed is invaluable. And often it raises the level of all the employees.
