argh, i wasn't planning on responding to this thread because every time someone asks this question i give the same answer and i don't want to sound like a broken record, but you deserve some real advice!
dress as you would for an interview in person. sit up straight, clean your teeth, keep a glass of water nearby.
then, sit in front of a mirror. you'll feel like an arse, but it really helps. you will be prompted to smile and sit up properly and it will come across the fibre-optic cables and the people on the other end of the phone will feel the difference!
