It is just about London-expensive. A little less for transportation, a tad more for food.. €2 for a 0.5l beer in stores, around €4-5 a pint in pubs. Large pizza slice €4, kebab from €8, bag of chips €2.20 (vinegar for free, yuck).
Bus ride €1-2, but bus communication sucks anyway.
The centre is small enough for walking and DART train goes along the whole city coastline

Majority of museums are for free.I brought a bottle of Baileys here from Portugal, because it was noticeably cheaper.
