    This isn't a situation you described initially para, it's not just about the girl having male friends, ex-boyfriends being among them.
    That particular ex-one is positioning himself as a contender, he is still trying to get her back, he "doesn't like" the original poster and "wants to be with her".
    If she isn't giving the guy a clear "it's over, fuck off" message, she's not being loyal to the original poster.
    She either likes to have it all, or takes pleasure in trying her bf by putting him into situations like that. Or both.

    I used to have a gf who behaved sort of like that years ago. When we and her ex found ourselves in one club one night, she suggested we played pool.. It seemed innocent, just friends having fun. I don't even remember who won the pool game, it didn't matter, because I was entitled to wearing "I win either way and you're just jumping around" face. Honestly, being tested like that wasn't healthy and I am happy she lives on the south hemisphere now :)
