Here take a look at these:
The are the same plastic material as credit cards. You can buy white blank plastic cards and take them to a shop that prints plastic ID cards. They are most likely to have an Eltron Printer or a similar one that prints high-quality color on those cards. I bought the latest model of that printer for my european company and they look simply amazing. The blank cards are not that expensive but printing will probably cost you 2-3 bucks per piece.
