what about Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. Miles is my favorite. Coltrane is one of my favorite musicians ever. Billie Holliday and Ella Fizgerald. Louis Armstrong, Mingus, Cannonball Adderly, Django Reinhardt is a great one. You should see the Sweet and Lowdown with Sean Penn playing the part.
