cheers for the responses so far guys. some good suggestions in there. and you're not wrong snuggles, you saw my 'what the font' request the other day then?
i can see what your saying about the name and the choice of font, but it's not really trying to fit the name, it's trying to fit the shop, a clothes shop in madrid selling stuff by young designers in london and run by a couple of brits.
they aren't really selling hunting gear and walking sticks, as the name might imply, hence staying away from something a little more classy.
as for the card, do you not think I can get away with it being very plain if it's printed in a black foil to give it something else?
