and yeah, i don't buy stuff from iTunes, but i would def rip all my movies with handbrake if i had the apple tv

I still have over 2000 cds I could rip to put on my ipod, but it takes too long to do, I dont even want to imagine w movies..you are a patient guy, or you dont have many movies.. ;(
