I have a question: I have a drawing (pen) that I've scanned and now want to paint in photoshop, leaving the qualities (little imperfections and sketchy bits) of the lines intact and untouched - adding colour underneath - to layers below. What's the best way to do this? I know I can select and delete the white space but this doesn't always work, and if there are lots of fine spaces and details then it's a nightmare. Is there a specific method for this? Mostly - I'm thinking of a good watercolour type look. Any thoughts?
